Wet spray services offer a variety of surface coating solutions and are different from powder coating.
The primary difference with a wet spray is that the coating is applied as a fluid that is either air dried or cured in an oven and is often applied in a series of coatings, often described as a two-pack or three-pack.
Many wet spray finishes are specified by OEM's or contractors, in particular many MOD specification finishes.
Wet spray finishes often have a counter-part coating available as a powder-coating finish.
Advantages of a wet spray include an often superior coating, depending on the system used, the ability to build the surface thickness with multiple coatings and the abaility to coat materials with various thicknesses that are not condusive to powder coatings due to their thermal heat sink properties.
